Meditate: A Lot on My Mind

Sometimes it feels like the anxious and overwhelmed parts are who we are. Drop in for a moment to reconnect to your Self— the one who observes— and create some space between you and those parts.

When anxiety or overwhelm get loud, it can fill our entire field of awareness. The racing thoughts, urgency, tension, or fear can begin to feel less like something we’re experiencing and more like who we are.

This meditation guides you back toward the part of you that can notice it all: your observing Self. There’s no right or wrong way to access this part of you, and it doesn’t have to be complicated. Sometimes simply connecting to the heart, inviting in compassion, and noticing what changes is enough to create a little more space. From there, we can meet the anxious or overwhelmed parts with care while remembering they are only one piece of a much larger internal experience.

Sometimes that small shift in relationship makes all the difference.
